Antique Clocks Online is the realization of a very long interest for me with antique clocks. When I was first introduced to antique clocks in the early 1990's, I really had no idea that there were so many different types of antique clocks available. My father-in-law first exposed me to antique clocks. In his house, at any given time there may be 20-30 clocks chiming on the hour, half-hour or quarter-hour. Over the years, he had assembled a very nice collection of antique wall clocks, mantel clocks, grandfather clocks, banjo clocks, cucko clocks and many others. He also had various styles of each of these types of clocks. The wide variety of types of antique clocks, and the wide variety of chimes they made fascinated me.

As I learned more about the history of antique clocks - how they were made, how they were used, where they were made, etc. - it became more of a passion. We went to a lot of antique auctions during those years, and without fail, one of the first things we checked was if there were antique clocks included in the sale.
